FloBro provides entertainment and relationship-education content only. Nothing in this app or service constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Cycle predictions are estimates — they are not clinically accurate. Never use FloBro to make reproductive health, fertility, contraceptive, or medical decisions. 1. Who We Are

Digital Voltage Media (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates the FloBro mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use the Service.

By using FloBro, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account data — your email address, used for account creation, authentication, and service communications.
  • Cycle data — period start dates and any other cycle information you voluntarily enter about another person. You must have that person's explicit knowledge and consent before creating a profile for them. See Section 5 (Consent Requirement).
  • Profile settings — humor level, notification preferences, profile type (partner or Dad Mode).
  • Support communications — messages you send to team@digitalvoltage.net.

2.2 Information Automatically Collected

  • Device and technical data — device operating system and version, app version, crash reports, and general performance metrics. We do not collect advertising identifiers.
  • Usage data — which features you use and how often, used only to improve the Service. This data is aggregated and does not identify individual users.

2.3 What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect payment card details — handled entirely by Apple App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat. We do not collect precise GPS location. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party ad SDKs.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Providing the Service — storing your account, generating phase forecasts, delivering daily briefings, and enabling Ask FloBro AI.
  • AI-powered advice — when you use Ask FloBro, the cycle context you have entered (phase, day, settings) is sent to Anthropic Claude, an AI language-model service, via our secure server-side proxy. This generates personalised advice. Your data is not used to train Anthropic's models. Only the context necessary for the response is transmitted; it is not retained by Anthropic beyond processing the request.
  • Service communications — transactional emails (account confirmation, policy updates). You may opt out of marketing emails at any time.
  • Security and fraud prevention — detecting and preventing unauthorised access.
  • Service improvement — aggregated, anonymised analytics to understand feature usage and fix bugs.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your account and cycle data are stored on secure, access-controlled cloud database infrastructure provided by an established cloud services vendor. All records are protected by row-level access controls — only your account can access your own data, enforced at the database level. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

No security system is perfect. We implement industry-standard safeguards and will notify you if a breach affects your personal data, as required by applicable law.

5. The Consent Requirement

FloBro enables you to enter cycle data about another person — a partner or a daughter. This must only be done with that person's explicit knowledge and consent.Tracking someone's cycle without their knowledge is a violation of their privacy and trust, and may be unlawful in your jurisdiction. We strongly encourage open communication. You, as the account holder, are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining consent.

6. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only in these limited circumstances:

  • Cloud infrastructure provider — our database and authentication vendor processes data under strict security and confidentiality obligations. The vendor's identity is available on request at team@digitalvoltage.net.
  • Anthropic Claude — AI language-model service used via our server-side proxy to generate Ask FloBro responses. Context is transmitted per-request and not retained for training.
  • Apple App Store / Google Play / RevenueCat — subscription and payment processing. We never receive or store payment card data.
  • Legal requirements — when required by law, court order, or to protect user safety.
  • Business transfers — if Digital Voltage Media is acquired, your data may transfer under equivalent privacy protections with advance notice.

7. Data Retention

  • Account and cycle data — retained until you delete your account, plus up to 30 days for technical cleanup.
  • Aggregated analytics — retained in anonymised form for up to 26 months.
  • Support emails — retained as long as reasonably necessary to resolve your issue.

8. Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated cloud data at any time:

  • In the app: Settings → Delete Account. Immediate and irreversible.
  • By email: Send a deletion request to team@digitalvoltage.net. Processed within 30 days.

9. Children and Age Requirements

FloBro is intended for use by adults aged 18 and over. A father (the account holder, who must be an adult) may use Dad Mode to track and support a minor daughter. The account holder must be 18+. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created their own account, please contact us immediately at team@digitalvoltage.net.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Regardless of your location, you may:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Deletion — request deletion of your personal data (see Section 8).
  • Opt out of marketing — use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email us.

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

You have the right to know what personal information we collect and share, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of sale (we do not sell personal data). You will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

EU/EEA Residents (GDPR)

Our legal bases for processing: (a) performance of the contract to provide the Service; (b) your consent for processing cycle data; and (c) legitimate interests for security and service improvement. You have rights to data portability, restriction of processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (see edpb.europa.eu).

To exercise any of these rights, email team@digitalvoltage.net with subject “Privacy Request.” We respond within 30 days.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. The current version is always available at this URL.
